A stand collar, front zip, and a short body that follows the figure, the rough, practical details of military clothing from years past. The main material is substantial, supple horsehide in a deep seal black close to black, whose appeal lies in the shadows that scuffing brings out. All-wool ribbing at cuffs and hem gives both warmth and that particular way it sits. The chest name plate, shoulder rank insignia, and Army Air Force motif on the sleeve recall the Air Force equipment of the day. Built carefully one piece at a time, it is a vintage military jacket to wear in over many years.
