Wide-Collar Riders Jacket — Asymmetric Zip, Natural Horsehide

A leather jacket built on the classic riders jacket, with an asymmetric zip, short body, and large collar. The leather is natural veg tanned and left exactly as it comes off the tannery, deepening into a rich amber the more it is worn. A silk lining sits kindly against the skin, for a genuinely luxurious wear.

Character of the material:
The pores are clearly visible, and the leather takes in water and oil readily. It is finished in its original colour, hard-wearing and slow to lose colour.
As it is unfinished, it is neither waterproof nor rain-resistant. Take particular care with water early on.
Water-dyed, so it can be worn as it is. The material settles in and gains character the more it is worn.
As the leather takes up perspiration and oils through wear, it develops a natural patina.

• Take care to keep the leather away from rain and water. If it does get wet, blot the moisture off promptly with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
• Store on a hanger that matches the shoulder width so the garment keeps its shape.
• Wipe dirt away gently with a dry, soft cloth, and condition with a leather cream as needed.
• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
