A leather jacket built on the Cossack jackets of years past, cut short and wide through the body with a shaped waist. A standing collar, a belted hem drawing the waist in, and mutton sleeves with ease through the upper arm narrowing to the cuff carry rough, strong vintage details. Made in horsehide about 1.4 mm thick, gaining lustre and shadow the more it is worn.

*A substantial horsehide finished black over a brown core. As the surface wears, the brown beneath shows through and the piece develops depth and shading. (Photos 1–19.)
・Oil-wax: outer leather horsehide (oil-wax finish, approx. 1.4 mm), lined
*A horsehide given a heavy oil-wax finish. The deep lustre builds the more it is worn, and lighter tones surface where it scuffs. (Photos 20–41.)

• Take care to keep the leather away from rain and water. If it does get wet, blot the moisture off promptly with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
• Store on a hanger that matches the shoulder width so the garment keeps its shape.
• Wipe dirt away gently with a dry, soft cloth, and condition with a leather cream as needed.
• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
