The memory of a rough uniform that ran through its era. Built on the 1930s California Highway Patrol windproof jacket, it brings the bearing of that period into the present. A sharp, large lapel collar, a strong front zip, zip pockets left and right, and the rough functional details of workwear run a masculine spine through the silhouette. Precisely because the construction strips the decoration away, the quality of the leather and the bearing of the wearer say everything. The leather is a full-grain, uncoated horsehide; with no film on the surface it absorbs readily, so the deep seal brown settles into a sunken lustre and ages markedly the more it is worn.

【About the material: Padova horse leather】
Made in Padova horse leather, developed in-house by REAL SIMONS in 2023. Seal brown is a deep, concentrated brown that sits close to black while letting brown show through when the light catches it — a distinctive, vintage-feeling character.
Polish horse leather is selected to AA grade, keeping creasing within a narrow range for an even surface grain. In retanning, we add more fat liquor than usual along with a milk-protein treatment, which brings out a supple hand, improved softness, and a fine surface lustre. A piece for those who want the real thing: it settles in the more you wear it, gaining a lustre and character all its own.

• Seal Brown: outer leather: horsehide (full-grain, uncoated); lining: yes. *A full-grain, uncoated, absorbent horsehide. With no surface coating it takes in moisture and oil readily, and an aniline-type ageing builds shaded lustre through scuffing and wear.

• Havana: outer leather: horsehide (full-grain, uncoated); lining: yes. *A full-grain, uncoated, absorbent horsehide. With no surface coating it takes in moisture and oil readily, and the lighter havana brown deepens with wear into an amber lustre — an aniline-type ageing.

• Take care to keep the leather away from rain and water. If it does get wet, blot the moisture off promptly with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
• Store on a hanger that matches the shoulder width so the garment keeps its shape.
• Wipe dirt away gently with a dry, soft cloth, and condition with a leather cream as needed.
• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
