Wide Pattern 1930s Remake, Oil-Wax Calfskin

A jacket rebuilt from a 1930s short leather original into a relaxed, wide modern silhouette. A collar that opens a little wider, a boxy body with ease from the shoulder down, a double front zip, the roughness of the vintage original and the way clothes are worn now, held together in one piece. The model was developed with inspiration from the well-known French fashion influencer ojardorf. Good material, a plain exterior, a short and wide pattern, and careful construction: combining these with a deep aesthetic groundwork produced a new arrangement. Drawing also on the luxury-brand leather coats observed in Tokyo and the street style seen on Shanghai corners, it is an attempt at a classic reconstruction that holds vintage and the contemporary together.

• Take care to keep the leather away from rain and water. If it does get wet, blot the moisture off promptly with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
• Store on a hanger that matches the shoulder width so the garment keeps its shape.
• Wipe dirt away gently with a dry, soft cloth, and condition with a leather cream as needed.
• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
