A heavy wool vest built on 1920s outdoor vests. A large-scale red and black buffalo check catches the eye, and the densely woven, weighty wool wraps you in warmth from the core. The placket, neckline, armholes, hem, and pockets are all bound in cowhide piping the whole way round, for a rough and solid finish. Front buttons and large flap pockets carry vintage work details, and it looks right simply layered over a shirt or a sweatshirt.
