A leather version of the traditional British blouson, the Harrington jacket (G9), offered in two leathers: a fine, lustrous calfskin or a soft, napped goatskin suede. A standing collar, front zip, flap pockets left and right, and ribbed cuffs and hem carry the classic G9 details. Either leather gains character the more it is worn.

• Calfskin: outer leather: cowhide (calf); lining: yes. *A fine, high-quality calfskin. Smooth and lustrous, gaining character the more it is worn.

• Goat Suede: outer leather: goatskin (suede, napped); lining: yes. *A napped goatskin suede. Soft to the hand with a matte quality, gaining character the more it is worn.

• Take care to keep the leather away from rain and water. If it does get wet, blot the moisture off promptly with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
• Store on a hanger that matches the shoulder width so the garment keeps its shape.
• Wipe dirt away gently with a dry, soft cloth, and condition with a leather cream as needed.
• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.

    I chose the goatskin. I've been a customer for a while, and I like this G9 very much. Suede reads quieter and more refined than calf, which suits a slim build like mine. The cut is relaxed and casual but makes your legs look long, and all the essentials of a Harrington are intact. If I still love it after a while I'll look at a made-to-order deerskin version. I'm 176cm, 71kg, and the M fits right over a shirt — for reference.
