The Cossack jacket, which was in fashion from the end of the 1920s into the 1930s. Its signatures are a turn-down collar (the cossack collar), a short body, metal-shank buttons, and the design placed at both sides of the waist; it was popular on university campuses at the time and was also called the campus jacket. This version carries that design over while reworking the ease through shoulder and arm into a short, wide silhouette. The main material is a dense vegetable-tanned horsehide, whose appeal is the lustre and firmness that come from oil wax. Buffalo horn buttons, corduroy on the inner sleeve, a buckle belt at the back, and a Japanese lining make it carefully built down to the details.

I'm 170 cm and 73 kg, and in L the body is tight and the collar button won't fasten. I talked to the shop and, to save time, decided to send it back and order an XL instead, which should fit.
