A straight reproduction of a vintage jacket found at a used-clothing shop in Koenji, Tokyo. A zipper runs over the top of the hood, and when it is opened the hood becomes a big collar. Wool jackets of this shape already existed in the 1950s, but few survive and they are sought after by vintage collectors abroad.

The practicality of a hood that zips open and shut, and a look you recognise at a glance: that is SAILOR COLLAR.

The body is a heavy 28 oz wool (wool 80/20). realsimons in script at the chest, 86 on the front, APACHES with a character on the back, and script embroidery inside the hood as well, in chenille and chain stitch. The yellow hood lining and striped rib stand out against the black or navy. The lining is a glossy heavy Japanese fabric, quilted.
