Courier Jacket — ECO Oil-Wax Calfskin

A short, wide leather jacket cut with a contemporary eye. A shorter body, with an oversized outline through the body and armholes. Diagonally cut slash pockets make it a jacket that sits with both a modern eye and everyday dressing.
A corduroy collar, check lining, reversed slash pockets, an inside pocket behind the placket, and a double zip render classic details in fine leather. The lustre and firmness only leather gives set the short, wide silhouette off further.

Material: Horween-style ECO oil-wax calfskin
The Simons Horween series, developed by REAL SIMONS in 2025. French calfskin as the raw material, chemical materials from Allied Chemical & Dye Corporation of the United States, and tanning conducted to American export standards.
The first stage is environmentally considerate, biodegradable full vegetable tanning; the second is a wax water-dye with a heavy oil-wax finish. Uncoated and pure aniline, 1.2 mm thick, dense and firm, and excellent at holding its shape. Depth of colour develops the more it is worn, growing into a two-tone character. The pores are finer even than horse leather's, and the material resists large slack creases. Natural grain and a faint line texture are visible across the leather surface.

Details:
The snap buttons are YKK vintage-style MILDEX buttons, electroplated over a brass core — the specification used on reproduction leatherwear, workwear, and denim. The zipper is a custom IDEAL no. 7 double zip with the large ring pull inherited from hunting wear, easy to work even with gloves on and set off by a matte silver finish. The lining is a classic check cotton, 100% cotton at 200 g/m².
