French Double-Breasted Pea Coat — Goatskin

A double-breasted pea coat style leather jacket based on the work jacket issued by the French government. The main material is a substantial goatskin, whose appeal is a hard-wearing, softly moist quality of its own. The lining is an all-wool buffalo check, which looks as warm as it is. Wide double buttons, a collar that turns back generously, and pockets at both sides carry the rough, practical details of workwear. The deep dark brown grows into rich shadow with age.
