A jacket descended from the café-racer motorcycle jackets of the 1940s. The factory spent a year reworking the pattern: heavy panels layered over the shoulders, the body cut short, the whole thing set wide. Zipped up, the body stops short, so the set of the shoulder and the depth of the chest are what you see.
The leather is a sheepskin made new for this pattern, in the British manner. It keeps the softness sheepskin is known for but is finished thicker than usual. Two reasons for choosing it: the garment gains the substance that thin sheepskin never has, and because the hide stays soft, the reinforcement panels at shoulder and elbow stand up full and round. The surface carries a fine, distinctive grain.
Vertical zip pockets at the chest, flap pockets at the waist. Zipped cuffs, a low stand collar closed with a single dot button. Lined in a light camel, with an inside pocket.
Both the materials and the details trace back to British motorcycle jackets, rebuilt from there around how the jacket is worn now. The name follows from that: BRIXTON, after the place in Britain.

■ Care
・Keep it out of the rain. If it does get wet, blot the water off with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in the shade.
・Store it on a hanger that matches the shoulder width.
・Wipe marks with a dry soft cloth and feed the leather with a leather cream as needed.
・Keep it out of direct sunlight, heat and damp.
■ About natural leather
・Creases, vein marks, scars and unevenness of colour are part of a natural hide, not faults.
・Colour may transfer or fade, and the leather will change with wear.
・Every piece looks slightly different.
