Leather Coach Jacket — Black, 1970s, Water-Dyed Wax Calfskin

The coach jacket wears many faces across street culture — skaters, road riders, hip-hop artists. It is now such a standard that everyone owns one, but a version made in real leather is lifted into something else entirely, quite apart from the usual fabric.
This model refers to the pattern of a vintage American-made coach jacket, reproducing an outline of pure American classic rather than the tight Japanese silhouette. It is a jacket with real range, showing a completely different face depending on the occasion and the person.
【About the material】
The shell is Cañelo oil-wax calfskin (uncoated full-grain calf), developed specially in 2024. About 1.2 mm thick, it has a softness and substance like horsehide, with even the vein markings particular to horsehide faintly visible. It takes shape well and holds it, while keeping the durability and abrasion resistance cowhide has by nature. These twin virtues are only possible with a genuine full grain that hides nothing behind a coating.
Before it is made up, the leather is tumbled in wooden drums to reproduce the softening that everyday use brings. This makes it soft and easy against the body from the very first wearing — a process only fine leather can take, and one that reprocessed, split, or coated cheap leathers could never survive.
