Shearling Ranch Coat — Double Layer, Sheepskin

A double-layer leather coat based on the ranch coats worn by ranchers in the nineteenth-century American West. Napped suede sheepskin outside, and shearling with the wool left on inside, so it is light while being warm from the core. The shoulders are double-layered; a large pile collar wraps the body, pockets are set off with arrow-shaped leather piping, and cuffs and buttons are edged in amber leather — rough, characterful details throughout. The quiet classic brown sets off the shadows of the suede and the natural colour of the shearling beautifully.
